Our founder, Nasib Hasanov, has touched countless lives from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and to Ukraine, by personal donations or contributions from the companies he owned.

Firuza Foundation will fund all its activities in 2024 by donations from its founder, Nasib Hasanov.

Mr. Hasanov’s main investment, NEQSOL Holding, is an international group of companies employing 12,000 people in 11 countries across the telecommunications, energy, construction and hi-tech industries. Between 2019-2023, NEQSOL Holding and its subsidiaries invested about $50 million (€46 million) to support social impact programs in Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Türkiye, and Georgia. NEQSOL Holding has identified the Firuza Foundation as its primary philanthropic partner for social impact programs in the future.

In parallel to the establishment of the Firuza Foundation, NEQSOL Holding committed to 2 new long-term programs in 2024:

• 5-year partnership with “Birge ve Saglam IB” in Azerbaijan to support people with autism spectrum disorder

• 5-year partnership with Education Investment Fund in Azerbaijan to provide scholarships to 50 female university students each year
